I recently started playing Diablo 3 with some friends and was pleasantly surprised. The port to console couldn’t have been easy, but somehow Blizzard got it done.
The controls feel good and the menu system is easy to navigate after spending an hour or so in the game. It’s deep and complex but at no time did it feel completely overwhelming.
The graphics are phenomenal. They can’t hold a candle to a high performing PC obviously, but they are smooth, crisp and colorful in a demonic hell-scape kind of way.
This is actually a really good deal because it comes with all the add-on content. You get Rise of the Necromancer pack and the Reaper of Souls expansion for about $20 bucks. The Necromancer pack alone is worth it.

If you’re not familiar with the Diablo franchise now is the time to dive in. the latest installment was released in 2012 by Blizzard Entertainment. It puts you in the driver’s seat of a demon slayer with all kinds of fun skills, armor, and weaponry. You get to choose from several character classes with a complex array of customization options. There is also an option to transmog your gear which is costly, but pretty slick.
If you can team up with a few pals, the hack and slash hunt for Diablo is even better. Love it? Hate it? I’d love to hear what you think.
